Wayne F. Ray, 80, passed away on August 4, 2020 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Graveside services are 11:00 AM on Friday, August 7, 2020 with Rev. Grant McElveen officiating. Burial will be in the Raytown Cemetery in Madison County. Visitation will be at Culpepper Funeral Home in Canton on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM. Survivors include sons David Ray (Natasha) and Bo Harrell (Dot); brother O B Ray, Jr.; sisters Onita, Alberta, Barbara, and Nellie; grandchildren Ashley, Larry, Logan, and Bo; and great-grandchildren Maria and Hayden. Wayne was born August 17, 1939 to the late Owen and Thelma Ray Ray. He was also preceded in death by his wife Yevonne Ray, and sisters Mattie and Frances. He was of the Baptist faith, a veteran of the US Navy, and retired from Kimberly Clarke Paper Mill. Culpepper Funeral Home of Canton in charge of arrangements.
