Philip Michael Meisinger (Phil) 68 of Omaha NE passed away Tuesday August 4, 2020. Phil was born in Nebraska City, NE on October 29, 1951. He graduated from Weeping Water, NE in 1970. He received an Associate Degree in Computer Science from Milford Technical College in December 1972. Phil was married to Lori Ann (Patton) on January 25, 1973. Best friends for over 50 years. They met in Palmyra, NE at a band clinic while both playing coronets! Phil worked as a software engineer for 39 years. He started at Roberts Dairy/American Beef, ESU3 and found his perfect fit at ACI/Grapevine for 29 years. He made very good friends at school and work. After retirement he worked part time at OPSF, before and after school kids club. He loved spending time with family and friends and being at as many activities for his kids and "grands". He enjoyed his photography, taking many graduation, weddings, friends, family and vacation pictures. Since he is the self proclaimed regional "foodie" he loved it when people asked for his suggestions and critiques of restaurants! Loved his Keurig coffee and tea and a few "Irish" beverages that were enjoyed over the years with family and friends. Philip is survived by his wife, Lori. Son, Philip Patton (Pat), grandson Collin Patton and grand-daughter Madalyn Nicole Meisinger. Daughter Loni Ann, grandson McGuire Patton (Mac) and grand-daughter Audrey Ann Connolley. Sister Sandy (Terry) Dennis of Blomfield NE. Brothers, Randy (Lou) of Lincoln NE and Rob (Gale) Meisinger of Weeping Water NE. Seven nephews and families. Preceded in death by his parents Herb and Jane Mesinger and Lori's parents Jerry and Eunice Patton, nephew Brian Meisinger (Randy and Lou), Baby boy Meisinger (Randy and Lou), Baby Dennis (Jeff and Heidi). Visitation is Saturday August 8,2020 1-8pm at Hammons Family Funeral Chapel in Weeping Water, NE. There will be a private family service. Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. He will be missed and remembered for his smile and infectious laugh but most of all, the love of our lives. Thank you to our family and friends for all your love and support.
