Raymond Randell Reese was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 18, 1963 to William and Katie (Coffman) Reese Sr.

Randy attend Mohawk Junior High and graduated from East High School in 1982. He retired from the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority in 2009 after twenty-one years to help raise his grandchildren. He married Tracy Savannah in 1989, and they raised six children together. Randy was a father and close friend to many others, including his best friends, June Pace, Helen “Missy” Finney, and Sandra Turner.

He was not only a devoted father and friend, he was a God-fearing man. Randy was a long-time member of Refuge Missionary Baptist Church where he sung every Sunday with the male chorus. They could always count on him to lead “On Time God.” We loved to hear Randy sing, and to watch him dance and enjoy himself. He was full of life, and loved to make people laugh and smile. He was an Ohio State Buckeye through and through. One of his favorite songs was “Rapper’s Delight,” and he always gave a command performance of it. We will miss his vibrant and charismatic personality, and his bright smile.

Randy is preceded in death by his parent, William and Katie (Coffman) Reese Sr.; his foster parents, Preston and Ella Geneva Baldwin; his sister, Laura Lita Reese; and his wife, Tracy Savannah. He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, William "Buster", Rodney, Reginald, Rudy Reese, and Blossom Powell; his children, Brittani (Breaker) Heller and Raymond Reese, Simone and Alexander (LaKisha) Savannah, Monique and Brandon Dudley, and Tiffani Bryson; his best friends; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
