Eric W. Frantz Pottstown, Pennsylvania Obituary

Eric W. Frantz

Eric W Frantz, 39, of Pottstown - formerly of Collegeville - passed from this earth on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Pottstown Hospital. Born in Norristown, PA, he was the son of Suzanne Frantz and stepson of Christopher Wolter. Eric was an avid fisherman and artist. Even as a child Eric had an extraordinary knowledge of fish and reptiles, which grew into a love for raising animals. Eric enjoyed gardening and cooking - he was always making enough to feed an army - and loved to share this food with family and friends. Music is something else Eric loved - from rapping like Wu Tang, to enjoying the stylings of Stevie Ray with his mom. Eric spent his free time mastering the art of Mortal Kombat (the video game, he didn’t actually hurt anyone) and working on his jokes. Eric will be remembered for his off-the-wall sense of humor and his big giving heart. In a world full of mundane people, the spirit and passion that Eric carried - for animals, music, family, and comedy - will truly be missed. Surviving are his mother; Suzanne Frantz, and stepfather; Christopher Wolter, along with: grandmother; Dolores Frantz, aunts; Denise Fulton & Tina Fleming, cousins; Nikki Frantz, Sandy Fox, Valerie Fulton & Chase Fleming, two loving great aunts and their families, as well as his collection of freshwater fish. He is predeceased by his grandfather Harry Frantz, uncle Mark Fulton, & his dogs; Diablo, Lucia, Exodus, Sabretooth, & Moose. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eric’s name to help rescue Pit Bulls. Philly Bully Team https://phillybullyteam.com/donate.
