Travis M Winchell

Travis M. Winchell, 26, a resident of Kenney Farm Road, in Sunderland VT passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2020, at Albany Medical Center. Travis was born in Bennington on November 11, 1993, the son of Dennis and Rebecca Morse Winchell. Travis attended Sunderland schools, Manchester Elementary and Middle School, and graduated from Arlington Memorial High. Travis was currently employed with Northshire Construction in Manchester. He was previously employed with Towsley & Son’s Renovations and as a self-employed Contractor. Travis cherished time spent with his daughter Callie, he also enjoyed motorcycles, dirt biking, fishing, kayaking, and old country music. He traveled throughout the east coast with his daughter and fiancé. Travis is survived by his mother Rebecca Winchell of Sunderland, daughter Callie Winchell, and fiancé for ten years Alijah Lanteigne of Pownal, brothers Brandon Morse and fiancé Nicole of West Arlington and Dennis Winchell, Jr and fiancé Rebecca Main of Sunderland, sisters Denise Cross and husband James of Danby, Sarah Winchell also of Danby, maternal grandmother Lucille Morse of Sunderland, special nephew Nicholas Morse, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Dennis Winchell Sr. and maternal grandfather Ralph Morse Jr. and paternal grandmother Dorothy O’Connell. Visiting hours for Travis will be held Friday August 7, 2020 from 5-7 pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home Arlington Chapel Historic Route 7A. A service will conclude visiting hours at 6:45 pm. Please join us at the American Legion immediately following for food, refreshments, and memories.
