Eugene (Jeep) Binderup Obituary

Eugene (Jeep) Binderup - Born June 5, 1966 passed away July 31, 2020.

The beloved father of Evan & Dane and step-father of Joshua Pray, brother of Bonnie Haile, son of Harry and Alice Binderup and inseparable partner of Eden McDonnell.  Jeep was predeceased in death by his wife Tina Pray Binderup.  His passion was always his boys and their focus as a family. Dane, Evan and Josh changed his life forever providing the unmatched love shared between a father and his sons. Together they charted the course of family vacations around Florida and the schedule of Boston Red Sox baseball at Fenway Park.

Jeep was born in Hartford Connecticut and grew up in Titusville Fl. He graduated in 1984 from Titusville High School where he played catcher on the baseball team and lauded for his excellent abilities on the field. Jeep started teaching at Titusville High School and coaching the varsity baseball team after graduating from UCF in 1992. He excelled at teaching students the importance of achieving their dreams and never underestimating their abilities in the classroom and on the field. Jeep was well loved in Titusville always drawing a crowd of former students and parents no matter where he went. His legacy will remain a foundation at Titusville High cemented with the stories of former players re-counting Coach Jeep arguing with the umpires over a bad call. His conviction to his family, his friends and all of those he touched throughout his years shall remain embedded with those of us who knew and loved him.
