Satterlee, 87, of Coffeen, IL passed away Monday, August 3, 2020, at 12:25 a.m., at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro, IL.&nbsp; Private funeral services will be held at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen, IL.&nbsp; Rev. Ralph Ward will officiate.&nbsp; Burial will be in Olive Hill Cemetery in Coffeen, IL.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Mr. Satterlee was born&nbsp;January 5, 1933, in Coffeen, IL, to the late&nbsp;Calvin Edgar &amp; Mildred Gladys (Sharp) Satterlee.&nbsp; He is a&nbsp;1951 graduate of Coffeen High School in Coffeen, IL.&nbsp; Mr. Satterlee married&nbsp;Luretta Newcum, on August 14, 1954, at the Methodist Church in Coffeen, IL.&nbsp; She survives in Coffeen, IL.&nbsp; He had worked as a&nbsp;Draftsman at Hurst and Roche in Hillsboro, IL for 40 + years, then worked at Fuller Brothers and Kink&#39;s Korner in Schram City, IL.&nbsp; He had lived in&nbsp;St. Charles, IL for a short time when he was a boy, but lived most of his life in&nbsp; Coffeen, IL.&nbsp; Mr. Satterlee was a member of the&nbsp;Coffeen Volunteer Fireman; Masonic Lodge in Coffeen, IL, then transferring to Masonic Lodge in Hillsboro, IL; Served on the Olive Hill Cemetery Board; Rocky Ford Park, Inc. and East Fork Township Board, where he served as clerk.&nbsp; He also coached many ball teams for his kids; shot trap and loved to hunt and fish.&nbsp; He never knew a stranger.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Mr. Satterlee is survived by his wife, Luretta Satterlee of Coffeen, IL; four children,&nbsp;Vickie (husband, Richard) Lovellette of Litchfield, IL,&nbsp;Gary (wife, Julee) Satterlee of Hillsboro, IL,&nbsp;Donna Satterlee of Litchfield, IL and Hugh (wife, Angie) Satterlee of Coffeen, IL;&nbsp;&nbsp;six grandchildren,&nbsp;Luke Satterlee, Erika Satterlee, Erin Satterlee, Sarah Kim,&nbsp;John Kim &amp; Alesia Pierce; three&nbsp;great grandchildren,&nbsp;Charlie Elise Satterlee, Finlay Von Satterlee &amp; Nathan August Schmidt.&nbsp; Along with his parents, Mr. Satterlee was preceded by one brother, Hugh Satterlee and one sister, Katherine Richards.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Memorials are suggested to Olive Hill Cemetery in Coffeen, IL.</p>
