<p>Dora Richter, 93, beloved Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on July 29, 2020. She entered this world on May 25, 1927 in Bishop, TX, born to Otto and Minnie Hoff.</p> <p>Along with being an avid fisherman, her interests included quilting, sewing, baking, and reading. Her memory will live on in the recipes she taught us, most especially her cr&egrave;me puffs, and the quilts she created. She spent her final days surrounded by family in Greenwood Indiana.</p> <p>She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Richter and her sons Garry and Kenneth Richter.</p> <p>She is survived by 3 children; Ron (Angie) Richter, Patsy Richter, and Debbie Richter; brother, Floyd (Ernestine) Otto Hoff as well as 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.</p> <p>A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 2 pm at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with Pastor Victor Andersen of St. John Lutheran Church in Bishop presiding.&nbsp; Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Bishop.</p> <p>Arrangements are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas 78363.</p>

Obituary

Dora Richter, 93, beloved Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on July 29, 2020. She entered this world on May 25, 1927 in Bishop, TX, born to Otto and Minnie Hoff.

Along with being an avid fisherman, her interests included quilting, sewing, baking, and reading. Her memory will live on in the recipes she taught us, most especially her crème puffs, and the quilts she created. She spent her final days surrounded by family in Greenwood Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Richter and her sons Garry and Kenneth Richter.

She is survived by 3 children; Ron (Angie) Richter, Patsy Richter, and Debbie Richter; brother, Floyd (Ernestine) Otto Hoff as well as 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 2 pm at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with Pastor Victor Andersen of St. John Lutheran Church in Bishop presiding.  Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Bishop.

Arrangements are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas 78363.
