.Curtis Lamar Fort was born on june 24,1959 in gainesville Fla
The oldest of four children born to the union of George and Gladys fort 
 As a young man Curtis enjoyed hunting,playing football and playing the drums,
He was a graduate of Eastside high school class of 1977 where he served as drum major
for the mighty marching100 Rams.
He joined the U.S.Army After high school
Curtis was like  a big brother to so many,and enjoyed showing his love by giving huge big backbreaking 
hugs to his female family and giving firm manly drop to your knees hand shakes to the men.
He often gave nicknames to his loved ones like,Ratt,C-Dogg,Mini Me,Sunshine & Mont,Pinkey
Squeaky,Mickey mouse,Red Meat,T-Top,Nate and many more you all know who you are.
He later in life found and accepted Christ as his holy Savior
He met and married his loving wife of 16 years Mrs Kathleen Fort
He then re-enlisted into the army Reserve where he still was serving his country.
Curtis truly loved sharing his love of the Lord and  how he came to fine Jesus,and preaching the word of God 
was what made him happy.
He returned back to school and received his Bachelor's degree & Masters in Biblical Theology
Sadly on Thursday July 30,2020 his Lord & savior called him home and gave him his well deserved
wings.
Fond and loving memories will be cherished by his wife Kathleen Fort his father George  W.Fort jr (Susie)
and his 5 children Tamara Fort,Curtis Fort jr,Caillen Fort,Arielle Middleton,Tamiko Fort
and his 3 loving bonus children Anthony Bonds,Natasha Bonds and Nathan bonds,11 grandchildren
2 sisters Sandra Fort Young(Deon)Lashonda Fort,3 Brothers Stacey Fort(Gerri) Micheal Forte,and Cornelius Mcleod
2 aunts Catherine Rivers & Clanzelle Flowers and 2 uncles Lester Gibson & Bobby Gibson(Lorine) 
a very special auntie Vernell Jones and a host of loving nieces,nephews,cousins,& dear friends
Curtis was preceded in death by his mother Gladys Gibson Fort
Grand mothers-Rosa Wilson and Essie Fort great grand mother Estella Davis
