<p>.Curtis Lamar Fort was born on june 24,1959 in gainesville Fla<br /> The oldest of four children born to the union of George and Gladys fort&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;As a young man Curtis enjoyed hunting,playing football and playing the drums,<br /> He was a graduate&nbsp;of Eastside high school class of 1977 where he served as drum major<br /> for the mighty marching100 Rams.<br /> He joined the U.S.Army After high school<br /> Curtis was like&nbsp; a big brother to so many,and enjoyed showing his love by giving huge big backbreaking&nbsp;<br /> hugs to his female family and giving firm manly drop to your knees hand shakes to the men.<br /> He often gave nicknames to his loved ones like,Ratt,C-Dogg,Mini Me,Sunshine &amp; Mont,Pinkey<br /> Squeaky,Mickey mouse,Red Meat,T-Top,Nate and many more you all know who you are.<br /> He later in life found and accepted Christ as his holy Savior<br /> He met and married his loving wife of 16 years Mrs Kathleen Fort<br /> He then re-enlisted into the army Reserve where he&nbsp;still was serving his country.<br /> Curtis truly loved sharing his love of the Lord and&nbsp; how he came to fine Jesus,and preaching the word of God&nbsp;<br /> was what made him happy.<br /> He returned back to school and received&nbsp;his Bachelor&#39;s degree &amp; Masters in Biblical Theology<br /> Sadly on Thursday July 30,2020 his Lord &amp; savior called him home and gave him his&nbsp;well deserved<br /> wings.<br /> Fond and loving memories will be cherished by his wife Kathleen Fort his father George&nbsp; W.Fort jr (Susie)<br /> and his 5 children Tamara Fort,Curtis Fort jr,Caillen Fort,Arielle Middleton,Tamiko Fort<br /> and his 3 loving bonus children Anthony Bonds,Natasha Bonds and Nathan bonds,11 grandchildren<br /> 2 sisters Sandra Fort Young(Deon)Lashonda Fort,3 Brothers Stacey Fort(Gerri) Micheal Forte,and Cornelius Mcleod<br /> 2 aunts&nbsp;Catherine Rivers &amp; Clanzelle Flowers and 2 uncles Lester Gibson &amp; Bobby Gibson(Lorine)&nbsp;<br /> a very special auntie Vernell Jones and a host of loving nieces,nephews,cousins,&amp; dear friends<br /> Curtis was preceded in death by his mother Gladys Gibson Fort<br /> Grand mothers-Rosa Wilson and Essie Fort great grand mother Estella Davis<br /> Grandfathers-George Doc Fort,and Eddie Gibson</p>
