At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday, July 31, 2020. Jeanne Marie Elida Lemire (née Carrière) of Cornwall; age 81 years. Beloved wife of Fernand Lemire. Loving mother of Michel Lemire (Cheryl Fisher) of Cornwall, Lise Secord (Gerry) of Cornwall, and Julie Lemire (Pierre-Yves Pilon) of Hawkesbury. Cherished grandmother of Robby, Jill, Andrea, Richard and Vincent, and great-grandmother of Addyson. Dear sister of Albert Carrière of Cornwall, and Vivianne Valiquette (Pat) of Oshawa. Predeceased by her brother Richard Carrière, and by her parents Peter and Raymonde Carrière (née Roy). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peters Catholic Church, Cornwall on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Notre Dame Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt St., Cornwall (613-938-3888). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
