Jack Wray, age 83, of West Paducah, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at his home. Mr. Wray was born in Ballard County on January 12, 1937 to the late AM and Bessie Wray. He was married for 64 years to Glenda Stone Wray. Jack was a retired farmer with Wray Brothers Farming and member of Spring Bayou Baptist Church. He was a charter member of the Kevil Fraternal Order of Eagle’s Club #4365 and he enjoyed being outdoors through hunting and riding around his farm on his Kubota. Jack was a beloved member of his community and adored by the children of the community. He will be remembered as someone who was tough, but would literally give someone the shirt off of his back and he was a loving and doting father. Jack is survived by his wife, Glenda Stone Wray; his daughter, Janet Bivin (Mark) of West Paducah; his son, Joey Wray (Becky) of West Paducah; five sisters, Sue Summers of Paducah, Lue Spencer of Paducah, Addie Mae Bush of Paducah, Paula Henley (Herman) of West Paducah, and Brenda Hyde (Jerry) of Paducah; one brother, Lendon “Tink” Wray (Kathy) of Ballard County; three grandchildren, Joshua Bivin of West Paducah, Tiffany Bivin of West Paducah, and Michelle Bivin of Benton; seven great-grandchildren, Chase Bivin of West Paducah, Koelton Taber of West Paducah, Kaily Bivin of West Paduach, Brittany Mathis of Benton, Kristen Willie of Benton, Trisha Russell of Benton, and Zackary Martin of Benton; and seven great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Tom Wray, Harry Earl Wray, Junior Wray, JM Wray, and Larry Wray. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Tilford officiating. Burial will follow the service at Woodville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
