Leo Scott Elsey

L. Scott Elsey, of Mineola, Texas, passed on July 31, 2020. Mr. Elsey was born to Leo Silas Elsey and Roberta Belle (Anderson) Elsey in San Diego, California on April 28, 1955. Scott worked many years with Exxon/Mobil in various locations all over the world, including Alaska, France, Qatar, and Papua New Guinea. An avid skier and scuba diver, he was adventurous by nature, and loved live music, good conversation, and a great cigar. He was preceded in death by his father Leo Silas Elsey. Scott is survived by his mother Roberta Belle Elsey; devoted and loving wife of 45 years Cydney (West) Elsey; son Brad Elsey; daughter Allison Elsey; daughter Gloria Benavides; sister Kathy Kerr; nephew Matthew Kerr; brother-in-law Scott West and his wife Sara and their children Thomas, Lee, Alexandra, and Alayna; grandchildren Samantha, Angelina, and Isabella; his French family Mathieu, Marie, Sarah, and Hugo; and his beloved bulldog Gracie.
