Giuseppina Petrillo (nee Capozzi), passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on August 1, 2020, at the age of 83. Arrangements are by the Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, Caldwell, NJ. Mrs. Petrillo was born in Prata, Italy and resided in Orange, NJ before settling in Livingston for the past 45 years. Always ready to set up another plate, Giuseppina made everyone feel welcome in her home. She showed her love in ways beyond words and after a night at Nonna’s, you knew you’d be leaving with a full belly and big smile. She dedicated herself to her children and their families, making sure each one of them felt her nurturing love-- even yelling it from the top of the drive, asking them to stay for just one more bowl of pasta! Christmas Eve at Nonno and Nonna’s is a tradition the family will hold onto, thanking Giuseppina and Agostino for giving them these beautiful memories. Giuseppina is the beloved wife of the late Agostino Petrillo; loving mother of Elvira Petrillo, Domenica Conforti and her husband Richard, Carmen Carrino and her husband Gregory and Nino Petrillo and his wife Julie Ann; beloved sister of Domenic Capozzi and the late Carmine Capozzi; cherished grandmother of Maria, Theo, Austin, Angela, Richard, Vincent, Joseph, Nina, Anthony and Michael; great-grandmother of Delaney, Cooper, Phillip Jr., Ava, Cameron and Jack.
