Anita Sue Cash, age 87, of Channing, Texas died Friday, July 31, 2020. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors. Bob Miller, pastor of First Baptist Church of Channing will be officiating.

Sue was born May 13, 1933 in Amarillo, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Homer Cash and Gladys Rebecca Cash, and her brother, Jerry G. Cash.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Patsy G. Cash of Borger, Texas, her nieces, Sheri Garcia of Borger, Lisa Boyd and husband Eddie of Amarillo, and her nephew Mark Cash of McKinney, Texas. She is also survived by her great nephews and nieces: Chris Damon of Colorado, Julian Garcia & Gabriel Garcia of Borger, Addison Gibson & husband Seth, and Ashli Smoot & husband Zack, both of Colorado.

After Sue graduated from Borger High School, she worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. in Borger for five years before moving to Channing, Texas. She was employed in the office of the County and District Clerk of Hartley County in Channing, Texas for 27 years until her retirement. After retiring she made her home in Channing, Texas. Sue always had animals around her, a passion that runs in the family, and she loved to sit on the porch of her home and watch the trains go by each day.
