Georgia J. “Granny” Fultz, age 89 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Carriage Inn of Dayton. She was born on July 11, 1931 in Jackson, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Leonard & Ellen (House) Parrott.

Preceded in death by her son Jeffery Lee Fultz (cherokee), daughter Jeanette Gilbert, grandson Jeffrey L. Fultz, Jr., her one true love Paul, 3 brothers Charles, Estle, & Phillip Parrott, sister Geneva Carmack and by her nephew Michael Parrott.

She is survived by her loving son Phillip G. Fultz, daughter-in-law Sandra Henson (Fultz), 5 grandchildren Anthony Gilbert (Nikki), Martha & Darion Smith, Michael Henson, Tammy & Justin Collins, Chris & Christina Gilbert, 9 great grandchildren Alyssa  Smith (Anthony), Brittany  Elsass (Dustin), Jasmine Collins (Carlos), Stormy Collins, Anthony, Adam & Kurstie Gilbert and Neveah & Michael Henson, 4 great great grandchildren Ethan Elsass, Isaac Smith, Sophia Gilbert & Maliyah Ellison, 3 sisters Jeanette Parrott, Judy Allen & Barb Parrott, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Wayne Woody officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) at the funeral home.

Georgia was a great mother who learned how to cook and bake standing on a chair, her passion was to bake pies and carrot cake. She loved to fast walk and sew; loved yellow roses and Owls. She was an amazing Granny to so many. She loved her grandchildren, and she would call them 10x’s a day give or take, including phone calls at 2 a.m. Rest in Heaven Granny, you will truly and deeply be missed.
