<p>DAVID H. BOHANNAN<br /> <br /> David H. Bohannan, 86, of Lynn Haven, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Peggy. They had 3 children, Terry Bohannan (Barbara), Jerry Bohannan (Jolene) and Sherry Jones (Michael); 7 grandchildren, Shane Bohannan, Jeremy Bohannan, Justin Smith, Conner Jones, Jan Beratowski, Michelle Beratowski and John Michael Beratowski; 4 great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Bohannan, Stetson Smith, Oakley Smith, and Luca Voyle.<br /> <br /> David was born November 20, 1933, and grew up in Goodwater, AL. After graduation from high school he joined the US Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant after 20 years service. After retirement, he returned to Alabama where he raised cows which he loved. He also worked as a professor at Nunnley State Technical College and at the Anniston Army Depot, retiring a second time.<br /> <br /> David then moved to Florida in 2013, enjoying fishing, going out to eat, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the State Avenue Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.<br /> <br /> Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with US Air Force Honors offered by Tyndall AFB. Interment will follow.
