<p><a href="http://videos.lifetributes.com/1081680"><strong>Click here to view Memorial Tribute</strong></a></p> <p><strong>Ellis Green,</strong> age 73, died Saturday, August 1, 2020 at home. Ellis was born at Quicksand, Kentucky on March 17, 1947 to George and Stella (Terry) Green. He moved to Kendallville when he was 18 years old, went to work at Dalton Foundry and was employed there for 38 years. He married Patricia Sue Hicks on February 1, 1969 in Lisbon, Indiana. She preceded him in death on January 9, 2019.</p> <p><strong>Survivors include:</strong><br /> Son, Anthony Scott and Holly Green of Kendallville.<br /> Daughter, Tracy Leann and Harland Smith of Kendallville.<br /> Daughter, Elisha Kay Groff of Kendallville.<br /> 9 grandchildren: Kelli Ensley, Destiny Green, Dustin Smith, Dylan Smith, Abby Conley, Grant Conley, Haley Groff, D.J. Groff and Trent Groff.<br /> 4 great grandchildren.<br /> Sister, Laura and Glen Handshoe of Kentucky.<br /> Sister, Hermie&nbsp;and Donnie Grigsby of Kendallville.<br /> Sister, Lucy and Kenny Cox of Kendallville.<br /> Sister, Joy and Chuck Hill of Wolcottville.<br /> Sister, Clidia Conley of Kendallville.<br /> He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia; sister, Cloye Molette; brothers, Loye Green, Ray Green and Frank Green.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Visitation </strong>will be held Tuesday, August 4th from 2:00 PM &ndash; 6:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home.&nbsp;<br /> <strong>Services</strong> will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home.<br /> <strong>Burial </strong>will follow at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.<br /> <strong>Casket bearers </strong>will be Harlan Smith, Dustin Smith, Dylan Smith, D.J. Groff, Chad Conley and Gary Handshoe.&nbsp;<br /> <strong>Arrangements</strong> entrusted to Hite Funeral Home.&nbsp;</p>

I'll never forget every year of my childhood Uncle Ellis and aunt pat always had food and let us come in and warm up on Halloween before finishing our trip on down the road for candy❤️ he will be missed by many.
