Dale Hill, age 73, of Knoxville passed away early Friday morning, July 31, 2020 at his home. Dale was an employee of Knoxville Motor Company for over twenty years. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving as a Sergeant with the United States Army. Dale was an avid fisherman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Naomi Hill; sisters, Geraldine Moyers, and Lois Jean Teasley; brother, Darrell Hill; father-in-law, Rev. James Johnson. Dale is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra Johnson Hill; sons, Christopher and Travis Hill; brother, James D. Hill; sister, Glenda Hensley; special friends, Budgy Smith and wife Kim; mother-in-law, Juanita Johnson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Betty Sue Johnson, Sharon and Bobby Irvin, Donna and Dan Johnson, Brenda Hale and Timothy Johnson; grandchildren, Kelsey, Haley, Shelbie and Bryar; great grandchildren, Kylee, Lily, Emily, Joseph, Brylee, Kayden, Sean, Maverick and Jaxon; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:45 p.m. on Saturday at the Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Chapel with a Celebration of Life to follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Ricky Witt officiating. Full military honors will be conferred by the United States Army and the East Tennessee Veteran's Honor Guard.
