Our beloved mother, Mary Helen Evina Fierce Graham has passed on peacefully. She was born to Annabelle Fierce in South Hill, VA on May 30, 1931. She loved her life in Rehoboth on her grandparent's farm, Samuel and Alice Fierce, until she was 10 years of age. She shared so many loving memories of life: how Mama taught her how to take care of her hair;  Maude the horse; the rooster chasing her; eating sweet potatoes from her grandmother's garden or climbing the neighbor's tree with Hoover and eating nuts.

My mother's treasured legacies included: faith in the Almighty Creator Jehovah God of the Bible; a good and sober life; cleanliness; order; good food; family and the pursuit of education. She then moved to be with her mother in Brooklyn, New York. There she met her husband Theodore Graham II. She often commented on how she could talk to him about anything. They shared a beautiful relationship of family, music, hugs and laughter. The two formed a union & had a beautiful green eyed baby girl named Denise. After settling down they had three more children: Andore, Theodore III and Anthony. In 1963, Helen and Lester Owens had a beautiful baby girl, Angel with lovely blond highlights. 

Helen worked as a med-surg and private duty nurse for 30 years until she retired. She is a lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Victoria, VA.  Helen was proceeded in death by her parent, Annabelle Scipio and her husbands: Theodore Graham and Yvonne Destine. She is survived by her five children: Denyse Graham-Woods, Andore Lozano, Theodore Graham III, Anthony Graham and Angel Long. Also 15 grandchildren,. 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grand child. She will forever be missed. We love you. Mommy.
