Mr. Russell Edward Huey, a resident of Ozark, died late Saturday evening, August 1, 2020 at his home. He was 75.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mr. Huey, son of the late Russell Edward Huey and Celesta Miller Huey, was a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served two tours in the Korean War and one tour in Vietnam. Mr. Huey lived in various locations in the United States and overseas while serving in the United States Army before moving to Ozark in 1976. He was an avid fan of Auburn University Athletics. Mr. Huey was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Huey.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Surviving relatives include his two sons, Russell E. Huey, III (August), Dothan and Michael C. Huey (Mary), Slocomb; a sister, Patricia Huey, Ohio; a brother, Tom Huey, Arizona; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Huey, Teisha Avery, Blake Huey, and Lydia Moates; three great-grandchildren, McKenzie Huey, Maddie Moates, and River Lane Avery.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></span></p>
