William 'Buster' Mattingly age 90, of Lebanon passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville after an illness. Mr. Mattingly was a United States Marine Veteran who served his country proudly, and received the Congressional Gold Medal. William 'Buster' Mattingly is survived by his four sons; William (Ruth) Mattingly of Germany, Edward (Wanda) Mattingly of New Albany Indiana, George (Dianne) Mattingly of Williamsburg, Virginia and Jerome (Mary) Mattingly of Louisville, KY along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services for William 'Buster' Mattingly will be conducted at Campbell-Dewitt Funeral Home on Monday, June 20 2016 at 12:00PM, with burial including full military honors in Lebanon National Cemetery to follow.
