Jason Cooper 1979 – 2020 Jason Lee Cooper, 40, of Ashland, passed away at home July 31, 2020 at his home. Jason was born December 15, 1979 in Ashland, Kentucky to Ronald and Pamela Kemper Cooper of Ashland. He was a self-employed carpenter, loved hunting, fishing, drawing and was a big superhero fan. Jason is survived by his parents, Ronald and Pam Kemper Cooper of Ashland; two sons, Peyton Lee Cooper and Eli Dean Cooper, both of Fairmont, WV; one sister, Stacey Caniff and her husband Brandon of Cincinnati, OH; nephew, Sawyer Caniff; aunts and uncles, Anna Rigsby and husband, David of Flatwoods, and Brenda Tackett and husband Wayne of Raceland; cousins, Amber Tackett, April Wright and Ashley Tackett-Evans, along with a host of extended family and friends. Memorial Services will be conducted Monday, August 3, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Caniff Funeral Home with Rev. Ashley Tackett-Evans officiating. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Caniff Funeral Home, 528 Wheatley Road, Ashland, KY 41101 to help the family with funeral expenses.
