John (Jack) C. Thiesen

John (Jack) C. Thiesen, age 86, passed away on August 1, 2020. He is now in the place prepared for him by his Savior, Jesus Christ. Jack was born on January 24, 1934 in Milwaukee, WI and lived in Wauwatosa, Brookfield, and settled in Hazelhurst, WI. After graduating from Wauwatosa High School and UW-Madison, he proudly served his country in the US Army. He was employed by several manufacturing firms in the HVAC and automotive industries in the Milwaukee area. In 1960, Jack married June Fisher-Goldschmid, and they remained married until his death. He enjoyed woodworking, boating, and downhill skiing through his entire life, and it was common to find him skiing the slopes until recent years. He was truly the “Jack of All Trades” as he could fix just about anything. He will be missed by all who knew him, including his wife June and 2 children, Lisa (Kevin) Tadych and Carl (Corinne) Thiesen , 4 grandchildren Benjamin (Annalise) Tadych, Rebecca (Robert) Carsey, Carah Thiesen and Cory Thiesen , and 2 great-grandchildren, William (2 years) and Christopher (4 months). Outdoor Memorial Gathering for Jack will be held on Sunday, August 23rd from 2:00 to 3:00 pm with a 3:00 PM Memorial Service at Faith Evangelical Free Church, please bring a lawn chair and a mask. Memorials may be sent to Faith Evangelical Free Church, PO Box 2059, Woodruff, WI 54568.
