Harold Dane Hyden was born in Ozark, Arkansas to his late parents, Otis and Mae Elkins Hyden on November 13, 1930. He passed away on August 1, 2020 at the age of 89. He lived in Ozark until his family moved when he was 7 to Woodland where he would spend the rest of his life. Harold worked on the family farm until he graduated from high school. From there, he worked for the County driving a truck. He then worked at H.H. Patterson Oil Company for 56 years, the latter of which he was the owner and manager until he retired. Harold was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He dearly loved his family. He is survived by his wife, V. Elaine Ford Hyden; his son, Steven Hyden and wife, Laura; his daughter, Anna Hyden; his grandchildren, Zachary Dane Hyden and Riley Paige Hyden. Open viewing will be held from noon until 5 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville, Arkansas. A private service will be held on Wednesday.
