Mrs. Birdie L. Matthews, 85, of 166 H H McKoy Lane, Fuquay-Varina, passed away August 1, 2020. She leaves to cherish her memories: her children - Lillie Canady, Clifton Matthews, Rosa Dennis, Erden Blount, Willie Matthews, Jr., Rayvon Matthews, and Lola Evans. She also leaves many memories with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The viewing will be Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Angier, from 12 Noon - 1:00 pm, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time.

The funeral service will be conducted Friday, August 7, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Angier, with no more than 50 people present. Masks are required and practice social distancing.

Burial will follow in the Starlight Memorial Gardens, Holly Springs.
