Lujuana DeBerry

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Lujuana DeBerry will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Central Avenue Christian Church with Pastor Dylan Young officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Monday, August 3, 2020, from 4 until 7 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mrs. DeBerry, age 61, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

She was born in Humboldt, TN to the late Albert and Mary Schoonover. Lujuana was a longtime banker in Humboldt and had most recently been in insurance sales with State Farm in Humboldt.

Lujuana loved the Lord and served Him by sharing her faith with others. She was a beloved wife, mom, and Nana who went out of her way to make every event a special occasion. She loved Humboldt, especially cheering on the Vikings, volunteering at the Strawberry Festival, and serving her customers. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mike Schoonover.

She is survived by her husband, Mike DeBerry; daughters, Chelsea Caraway and husband Gary Jr., Rachel Young and husband Dylan; brother, Jimmy Schoonover; grandchildren, Cannon and Colt Caraway, Ford Young.
