<p>Graveside services for Dorothy Payne Mullis, age 93, of Dexter, will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 3, 2020, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.&nbsp; Rev. Calvin Halcomb will officiate.&nbsp; Mrs. Mullis died Saturday, August 1, 2020.</p> <p>Mrs. Mullis was a Secret Civil Service employee and&nbsp;a farmer&rsquo;s wife and homemaker.&nbsp; She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church for several years before becoming a member of Dexter Baptist Church.&nbsp; Mrs. Mullis was a&nbsp;Sunday School teacher and choir member.&nbsp;She was a dedicated Christian and loved everyone like Jesus did.&nbsp; She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.</p> <p>Mrs. Mullis was preceded in death by her parents, William Mark and Annie Horne Payne; husband, Leghmon Mullis; daughter, Joann Mullis Bailey; son Randy Marion Mullis; one sister; and four brothers.</p> <p>Survivors include her children, Samuel Leghmon Mullis (Bobbie), of Kathleen, Brenda M. Alligood (John Edward), of Dexter, and Tommy Mark Mullis (Pam), of Dexter; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Serenity Hospice, 520 Hillcrest Pkwy #1202 C, Dublin, GA&nbsp; 31021.</p> <p>Townsend Brothers Funeral Home and Staff respectfully ask all in attendance to follow the social distancing guidelines set by our local health district and the CDC.
