Mrs, Minnie Evelyn Waters

Mrs. Minnie Evelyn Waters, 87, of Clearwater, SC, wife of the late Jack L. Waters, entered into rest peacefully in the comfort of her home on Saturday, August 1, 2020.  Born in Travelers Rest, SC and a resident of Aiken County, SC, most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Perry C. and Ida Mae Burrell Buckner. She retired from the Augusta Chronicle, where she worked in the Mail Room.   In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children, Wanda Burch, Clearwater, SC and the late Mark Waters, siblings, Ola Mae Taylor, Augusta, GA, Sylvia Smith, Pikesville, TN, John Buckner, OK, Mary McCord, Clearwater, SC, Nina Adams, Pikesville, TN and Robert Buckner, Jr., Hephzibah, GA; grandchildren, Mandy Herron and her husband, Stevie, Beech Island, SC and the late Scott Burch and great-grandchildren, Brookelyn Eskew and her husband, Jacob, Graniteville, SC and Steven Herron, Beech Island, SC and her fur child,  “Boo Boo”. In honoring her wishes, no services will be held and she will be interred in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC.
