Clara Mae O'Neal
<p>Clara Mae Hawley O’Neal, 94, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020. She was born December 29, 1925 in Newport News, Virginia to the late Earl Montague Hawley, Sr. and Lillian Kelly Hawley. Clara retired from the City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department. She was a faithful member of Green Pines Baptist Church.</p> <p>Clara is survived by her children: Thedward Roy O’Neal, Jr. and wife Lana of Wake Forest, Douglas Waynne O’Neal of Smithfield, Ronald Eugene O’Neal and wife Debbie of Clayton, Susan O’Neal Franklin of Buies Creek; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.</p> <p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thedward Roy O’Neal, Sr.; brothers: Eugene Lee Hawley and Earl Montague Hawley, Jr. </p> <p>A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Baptist Church, 190 Woodland Church Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587. </p>Obituary
