Alfons A. Przebieglec, 97, a lifelong North Arlington resident , died Saturday, August 1, 2020. He worked as an engineering associate for Western Electric in Kearny for 48 years before retiring in 1985 and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America . He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post # 37 in North Arlington. Alfons was the beloved husband of the late Helen J. Przebieglec ( nee Koschak ); the devoted father of Jeffrey M. Pryblick and his wife Catherine and Gary M. Pryblick and his wife Judy; the cherished grandfather of Kristen Tiedemann and her husband Matthew, Michelle Mazur and her husband Robert, and Ally and Adam Pryblick; the doting great-grandfather of Brooke, Brielle and Lily; the dear brother of the late Milton Pryblick, Eugene, Charles, Theodore and Richard Przebieglec, Helen Schultz, Frances Koch and Jean Taylor; and the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington on Tuesday, August 4th at 9 a.m. thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be held on Monday 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to North Arlington Volunteer Emergency Squad ,P.O.
