Katherine Jeannette Cutshaw Henson

Katherine Jeanette Cutshaw Henson Loving Mother and Sister Waynesville-Jeannette Henson, age 79, passed away at Silver Bluff Village on Saturday, August 1, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Ralph Henson; her parents Carl and Drusilla Cutshaw; three sisters-in-law, Ruby Henson, Edith Ewart and Geraldine Henson; one brother-in-law, Troy Henson and her Father and Mother-in-law, Blaine and Millie Henson. Jeannette is survived by her son, Phillip D. Henson; one sister, Phyllis C. Plemmons (Mike) all of Waynesville; three sisters-in-law, Wanda and Judith Henson and Betty Cope; three brothers-in-law, Roy Henson, Gary Henson (Sarah) all of Canton and Ray Henson of NY along with numerous extended family and friends. Walking, scrapbooking and working puzzles were some things Jeannette enjoyed doing. She was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed fellowship with everyone there. Jeannette loved her family and dog, Angel as well as all her fur babies before. Jeannette worked at Ingles Video and Kims Pharmacy but worked in the medical field most of her life. She retired from Haywood County Hospital with over 30 years of service. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Smoky Mountain Chapel with Reverend Phillip Wyatt officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Burial will follow services at New Cruso Cemetery. Pallbearers to assist at services will be family and friends. We ask the for Social Distancing, Masks and Hand Sanitizer to be used by all who plan to attend visitation and services for Mrs. Henson Smoky Mountain Cremations and Funeral Service of Clyde is caring for the family and the online register is available at www.smokymountaincremations.com.
