<p>Graveside services for Betty Ray Johnson will be Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at 2:00 pm, at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery in Vicksburg, MS. Stephens Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements.<br /> <br /> Mrs. Johnson, 89, died Saturday at her home. She was a fine Christian woman who, when she was able, enjoyed the church life and being a member of Church of Christ.<br /> <br /> She is survived by her children, Cathy Gibbs Hays (Neal) of Nashville, TN, Robert M. Gibbs of Lauderdale, MS and Joan Johnson Garrard of Vicksburg, MS; 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and a sister Elaine Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Rosa Carpenter and her husband Riley H. Mrs. Johnson, 89, died Saturday at her home. She was a fine Christian woman who, when she was able, enjoyed the church life and being a member of Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children, Cathy Gibbs Hays (Neal) of Nashville, TN, Robert M. Gibbs of Lauderdale, MS and Joan Johnson Garrard of Vicksburg, MS; 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and a sister Elaine Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Rosa Carpenter and her husband Riley H. Johnson.
