<p>Graveside services for Betty Ray Johnson will be Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at 2:00 pm, at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery in Vicksburg, MS. Stephens Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements.<br /> <br /> Mrs. Johnson, 89, died Saturday at her home. She was a fine Christian woman who, when she was able, enjoyed the church life and being a member of Church of Christ.<br /> <br /> She is survived by her children, Cathy Gibbs Hays (Neal) of Nashville, TN, Robert M. Gibbs of Lauderdale, MS and Joan Johnson Garrard of Vicksburg, MS; 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and a sister Elaine Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Rosa Carpenter and her husband Riley H. Miss Betty was a very sweet lady and a sister in Christ. We attended worship together for many yrs. She was also my Brownie leader for a time. 🙂 a I'll always remember her soft voice and ready smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you Cathy, Robert and Joan. 🙏❤
