Mrs. Joyce Faircloth Sills, 73, of Dunn passed away Saturday morning August 1, 2020 at her home. Joyce was born October 17, 1946 in Harnett County daughter of the late Talbert and Dora Everette Faircloth. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Willie and Otis Faircloth. Joyce attended Erwin High School and was a graduate of Central Carolina Community College. She had worked at Erwin Mills for thirty-five years and had retired from Betsy Johnson Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Swinson, Rev. Austin Swinson, Rev. Lee Faircloth and Rev Sherrill Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Erwin Memorial Park Cemetery. She is survived by her husband Kenneth M. Sills; daughters, Wanda Wade and husband Alan of Erwin, Kim Tew and husband Bryan of Spivey’s Corner; grandchildren, Misty Wade and fiancé Joey Johnson of Erwin, Kyle Tew and fiancé Sydney Lee of Spivey’s Corner, Owen Tew of Spivey’s Corner, great grandchildren, Raegan Johnson, Jax and Eli Tew; brother, Talbert “Buddy” Faircloth and wife Faye of Dunn; sister, Mozelle Martinez and husband Albert of Erwin and a special dog “Rascal”. The family will receive friends 4 -6 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
