<p>Gary Dean Clearwater, age 68, La Cygne, Kansas passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020.&nbsp; He was born on March 7, 1952 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Fred and Dorothy Johnston Clearwater.&nbsp; He graduated from La Cygne High School in the Class of 1970.&nbsp; He married Susie James on February 8, 1975.&nbsp; He worked as an equipment operator and was currently employed with Hamm Construction.&nbsp; Gary&#39;s number one priority was his family.&nbsp; He enjoyed spending time in the roping pen, taking care of his cows and upland bird hunting.&nbsp; He could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents.&nbsp; Gary is survived by his wife of forty-five plus years, Susie, son, Ty Clearwater, daughters, Kristie Jo Clearwater(John) and Tatum Schull(Tom), a brother, Larry Clearwater(Dalena), two&nbsp;sisters, Kathy White(Donnie), Karen Matula(Dan)&nbsp;and four grandchildren, Austin&nbsp;Kelpis, Cole Wallace, Bryson and Heath Schull.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Graveside service will be 11 am Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the East Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel.&nbsp; Contributions are suggested to the Linn County 4-H Council, c/o Schneider Funeral Home, P.O.
