<p>McKAY, Delores Maxine (ne&shy;&eacute; Logan)</p> <p>October 22, 1937 &ndash; July 20, 2020</p> <p>It is with sadness we announce the passing of Delores McKay formerly of Oliver, BC. Delores passed away at Village by the Station on Monday, July 20, 2020 at the age of 82 years.</p> <p>She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Kim (Rob) Laramee, Cindy Barbour, Vicki Moore, Lloyd McKay (Peter James), David (Gillian) McKay, Lyne-Marie Matthews, eleven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Delores was sadly predeceased by her three brothers: Mel, Carl, and Billy Logan.</p> <p>Delores enjoyed playing cards, crafts, and crochet. &nbsp;She also enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, going for drives, but perhaps her greatest love was her garden. Most years she would begin planning in January. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.</p> <p>The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Good Samaritan Village by the Station and send additional thanks to Dr. Myslek and Dr. Begin for their care and compassion. A very special thank you to Delores&rsquo; friends and neighbours: Al &amp; Michelle Coates and Ed &amp; Norma Emery for their love, friendship, and assistance over the years.</p> <p>There will be a private family gathering at a later date. It is with sadness we announce the passing of Delores McKay formerly of Oliver, BC. Delores passed away at Village by the Station on Monday, July 20, 2020 at the age of 82 years.
