Leslie Waugh Robison passed away peacefully with his sons by his side on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Regina Pasqua Hospital. He was 85 years of age. After losing his father in a tragic accident when he was only 12 years old, Les took on looking after the farm along with his mom and little brother. Even though he had many responsibilities at a young age, his mom always made sure he took time for sports and youth activities. Les became an avid hockey and ball player. He played fastball with Cullins Lake and Grenfell Gems and hockey with Whitewood and Grenfell teams, making many close friends along the way. Les was a great curler also; he enjoyed curling in Summerberry, Grenfell and Wolseley up until his late 70s, never missing many shots. Les and his wife, Marion, moved to Wolseley in the fall of 1999. They were married 57 years. Les completed 69 harvests in his lifetime and loved every year, even the unsuccessful ones. He drove combine until he was 82 years old. He was always very patient and forgiving, and everyone loved his positive, humorous attitude. Les was predeceased by his father, Max Robison, mother Leona Robison, father-in-law Alex Main, mother-in-law Francis Main and sister-in-law Anne Robison. He is survived by his wife, Marion Robison; son Trent (Rhonda) Robison and their children, Nicholas and Rebecca; son Scott (Angie) Robison and their children, Brooke and Cadence; his brother, Kent Robison and his children, Jeff Robison and Susan (Doug) Vellieux and great-nieces Sarah and Amy Vellieux. As per Les’s wishes, there will be no funeral. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
