Mary Lou Kidd Nielsen passed peacefully with family on July 19, 2020. She was born December 4, 1929 in Preston, Idaho to Hugh and Myra Sharp Kidd on the family farm the 7th of 7 children all who have preceded her in death.  She was preparing to serve a mission and met an "awkward farm boy" - they corresponded while both served in different missions in California.

She married her sweet Norman B. Nielsen March 19, 1953 in the Logan Temple. They had 4 children: preceded in death by Hugh and Myrene which broke her heart.

Survived by Alecia (Shane) Vincent & Spencer (Kim) and 7 grandchildren who she adores!!!

Mary Lou served in many LDS callings. Loved the Relief Society! Served in Stake and Ward for many years. Taught Gospel Doctrine, Relief Society and primary. So loved her church and her family. Always remembered Birthdays! Sent 100's of Birthday cards over the years. Avid life long wresting fan! Loved the WWE and watched it faithfully along with the Utah Jazz!

She worked at ZCMI then went to banking and was a Bank Officer at Utah Bank & Trust. She worked many years and made my friends there!

Family very much appreciates the kindness and care from Kim, Jeremy and Evie!

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Valley View Memorial Park at 1:00 P.M.
