Jerry Lee Reed, age 81, of Christiansburg, Ohio passed away on July 17, 2020 in the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.  Born on June 7, 1939 in Casstown, OH, Jerry was a son of the late Robert John and Helen Louise (Shaw) Reed.
 
Jerry is survived by his wife of 39 years, Ginette (Pereira de Jesus) Reed, and she survives in Christiansburg. He is also survived by three children:  Rod (Patty) Reed of St. Paris, Becky Reed of Indian Lake, Debbie (Dave) Hale of Troy, and two stepdaughters, Carol Moeller and Cathy Shock of Anna. He was a loving grandfather to six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents a son, Dean Reed, a grandson, Robert Reed and brother Virgil Reed, preceded him in death.
 
Jerry worked for Hobart Brothers for 13 years, Dinner Bell for 24 years and Keith Fisher Construction for 9 years.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening and the Dayton Flyers.
 
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm  in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield St., Saint Paris, Ohio 43072.  Social distancing and masks will be requested.
 
Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, in the funeral home with Pastor Jeremy Spence presiding.  Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH.
