Delmar Clive "Del" Hinkle, 80, of Brushy Fork Rd. Buckhannon passed away at 4:40 pm on April 16, 2016 in the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport following complications from heart disease. He was born in Buckhannon on February 29, 1936 a son of the late Francis Clive Hinkle and Edith L. Smith Hinkle. On November 26, 1955 he married the former Eileen June Gibson and they celebrated 49 years of marriage before her passing on November 13, 2005. He is survived by one son, Douglas Clive Hinkle and wife, Veronica Phutthasen, of Victoria Australia; three grandchildren: Christopher Hinkle and Stephanie Hinkle, both of FL, and Shyann Hinkle of West Australia; several cousins; and companion, Betty June Suder, of Buckhannon. Del proudly served in the National Guard then worked as an electrician for the Bazinet Company in West Palm Beach, FL before retiring and moving back home to WV. In his earlier years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorbikes, flying model airplanes, collecting guns and watching the birds that frequented his yard. Dale's request for cremation has been honored and arrangements for a Celebration of Life Service will be announced soon.
