Kristopher "Kris" Moore

Kristopher “Kris” Craig Moore 33, of Clinton Township, died very unexpectedly Thursday, April 20th, 2017. He was born November 14, 1983, in Detroit, the son of Tim and Brenda (Craig) Moore. Kris’ interests were diverse. Between reading, creative writing, and illustrating, he worked tirelessly towards his dreams of becoming a published creative writer. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central Michigan University in 2007. His creative writing dream culminated in his own brand, KisforKomics, for which he had a number of various projects, including “Science Girl” and “Saturday Morning Snack Attack”, among others. His work also took the form of articles and blogs, many of which can be found on various websites, notably KisforKomics.com. Kris was honored to be a co-author of “Cardboard Kingdom”, a children’s graphic novel scheduled to be released in 2018. Surviving in addition to Weston Weiss, his partner of 9 years, are his brother and sister in-law Kyle and Samantha, nephews Jackson and Thomas, and niece Roxie; Grandmother Margie Craig, God Parents Cherie Dickinson and William Moore; dear friends Lacey Musik, Corrina Collins, and Nicole Jourdan; very close cousin Becky Schick-Scott; and a great number of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and countless friends.
