<p>Doris Olivia Tanner Robison<br /> <br /> 1923-2020<br /> <br /> Born May 5, 1923 in Wilmer, AL passed way Tuesday, July 14, 2020. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. She retired from the Mobile County Public School System after 28 years of dedicated and proud service. Doris was very interested and proficient in genealogy. She enjoyed writing and wrote many articles, short stories and poems related to her family and life experiences. She was an avid gardener with genuine green thumb and loved nature.<br /> <br /> She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton &quot;Bill&quot; Robinson; parents, Mannie and Effie Tanner; sister, Cleo Ward. She is survived by two sons, Michael (Ann) Robinson and Phillip (Danna) Robinson; grandson, Christopher (Stephanie) Robinson; granddaughters, LaShel (John) Norman, Wendy Johnson, Tina Sealy and Sabrina Lynn Ellis; great grandsons, Ryan Sealy, Austin Boyd and T.J. Reitzell; great granddaughters, Kimberlynne Norman, Mary Alexis Johnson, August Ellis, Charish Wiggins, Maddie Godwin, Amberly Kelly, Katie (Brandon) Kelly and Anna Reitzell; six great great grandchildren; one sister, Carmen Hamilton; many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilefuneralservice.com.</p>
