Mr. Martin Eric Plunkett

Mr. Martin Eric “Marty” Plunkett, 58, of Aiken, SC, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.  A lifelong area resident, he was a son of Margie Plunkett, Aiken, SC and the late Dennis Plunkett. He was formerly employed by WR Grace. Marty enjoyed scuba diving and fishing.  Additional family members include a son and his wife, Martin Eric and Regan Fanning, North Augusta, SC; granddaughter, Aurora Fanning, North Augusta, SC; siblings, Mitch Plunkett, Aiken, SC and Mike Plunkett, Canada and step-mother, Betty Plunkett, Aiken, SC.   The family will greet friends on Friday, July 17, 2020, beginning at 10 o’clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11 o’clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Interment will follow in the Central Baptist Church Cemetery, Aiken, SC.  If so desired, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
