Robert Keith Kennedy 73, of Queensland, with extreme sadness, we announce the passing of a truly amazing man on July 12, 2020. Born in Queensland he was the son of the late Mike and Erva (Dorey) Kennedy. Robert was employed for many years as a painter at the HMCS dockyard in Halifax until his retirement. He was well known for his sense of humour. Robert was very proud of his home and properties. Robert leaves behind his broken-hearted sister, Clare (Kennedy) Mathews, Enfield; nieces, Sussie, Debbie, Stephanie; nephews, Brian, Michael and his great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister, Diane, brothers, Billy and David, nephew, Davy. We the family would like to thank the staff at the 9A VG hospital for their excellent compassion and care during his illness. A graveside service will be held 11 am Tuesday, July 21st in St. Johns Anglican Church Cemetery, Queensland. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences can be made to www.rawalker.ca
