PLUNKETT, Barrie Edward Barrie Plunkett from Renfrew, ON in his 75th year was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven after a short illness at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Dear husband of Sylvia (nee Essex). Loving and devoted father of Sean (Jody) of Renfrew. Proud Poppa of his "Princess" Bailey, "Curly #1 and #2" Nathan and Jacob. Special friend to his dog Rosie. Brother of Richard (Susan) of England and Brother-in-law of Ken (Mary-Anne) Essex of Douglas, ON. Barrie will be missed by nieces, nephews, many friends from church and his "Scissor Guy" customers. Barrie is pre-deceased by his parents Nora and Richard, his brother Terry and his sister Norah Franey. A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Barrie's life on Saturday, January 9th, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Pentecostal Church, 56 Wrangler Road in Renfrew. - John 6:40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”
