Carol G. Preston, 62, passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2020 at the Exeter Hospital. She was born September 30, 1957 in Winchester, MA., daughter of Parker Hodgdon and the late Dorothy (Webber) Hodgdon. Carol grew up in Wilmington, MA and was a graduate of Wilmington High School. She was one of three children in her family. Carol built a 20 year career in various roles in the moving & storage industry. She had resided the past 10 years in Hampton Falls, NH and was formerly living in Salem, NH. Carol cherished her two grandchildren. She will be forever remembered for her sense of humor, quick wit and practical jokes. She enjoyed spending time traveling the seacoast and loved a good lobster dinner. She loved baking up sweet treats for her grandsons, and was an avid New England sports fan. She is survived by her significant other, Jeff Morgridge, her daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Jim Mackie, daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Preston and Joe O’Brien, 2 grandchildren, Devin and Owen, her father, Parker Hodgdon, sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Dan Donley, sister and brother-in-law, Patti and David Braun, and several nieces and nephews.
