Rhonda Louise Thompson, age 64, departed this life on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at her home in Helenwood, TN. Born November 26, 1955, she was the daughter of Jean Patterson Perkins and the late Lloyd Phillips. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Oneida. She worked many years of her life at Tibbals/Hartco Flooring and Oneida Nursing Home. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to read, watch movies with her husband, Denzil, and spend time with her family. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Phillips; sister, Donna Thomas; sister-in law, Ivie Senecal; brothers-in-law, Joe Smith, Lee Thompson, and Dorsey Thompson; and father and mother-in-law, Walter and Texie Thompson. She is survived by her husband, Denzil Thompson; mother, Jean Patterson Perkins; sons, Aron (Rosemary) Thompson and Dustin (Ashley) Thompson; 13 grandchildren, Cloie Strunk, Jesse Thompson, Eli Thompson, Aiden Thompson, Kenzi Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Austin Thompson, Ashton Thompson, Drayden Thompson, Dash Thompson, Dustin Thompson, Haley Thompson, and Zach Thompson; 3 great grandchildren, Greyson Strunk, Ellie Strunk, and Kendalyn Thompson; sisters, Debbie (Jeff) Reasons and Judy Smith; brother, Jeff (Roxanne) Phillips and Derrick Phillips; sisters-in-law, Kathy Kester and Pat Thompson; brother-in-law Willie (Ellie) Thompson; several other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Her wishes were cremation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. at the Bethlehem Baptist Church with Brother Steve Hodges officiating. Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville has been entrusted with final arrangements for Rhonda Louise Thompson.
