Alma Jean Iles

Alma Jean Iles, 90, of London, died Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Whetstone Gardens, Columbus. Jean was born January 21, 1930, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Bateman and Ruth Loraine (Dobbs) Spilman Hendershot. She had been employed at the Florea Drugstore, Madison County Hospital, and the WLNO 106 FM Radio station. Survivors include; sons: Dale Christian (Melinda) Iles of Crestview, Florida; David William (Cheri) Iles of Hawkins, Texas; half-sister: Darlene (Clay) Hendershot Sweet of Columbus, Indiana; grandchildren: Jennifer Jean (Keylan) Shannon; Christopher Eugene (Jennifer) Iles; Brian William (Alicia) Iles; Sara (Clifton) Noble; Ian Harris; great-grandchildren: James and Eric Green; Tammy Oxborrow; great-grandchildren: Zachary Eugene Iles; Aaron Riffle; Chloe and Taylor Harris; Stuart and Jonathon Salmon; Christopher Cremeen; Douglas, Danielle, and Ashley Oxborrow; Jordan Green; Trynt Sever. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband: William C. Iles, 2005; a brother; James Donald Hendershot, 1998.
