Raymond E. Henry was born on March 17, 1940, to Claude Henry and Lela Edwards. He accepted Christ as his savior at the Mitchell Street Church Of God In Christ where Elder Edward Lee Battles was pastor. He attended school at Julie C. Frazier Public School in Dallas, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Henry; grandparents; and three sisters, Mary Lee Blake, Claudia Ruth Ayers and Ada Mae Henderson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Lela Mae Edwards; daughter, Ramona Grisgby; son, Raymond E. Henry, Jr.; sister, Alma Johnson; brother, Dillard Henry; three grandchildren, Frederick Williams, Adrian Williams and Frank Grisby; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Henry; grandparents; and three sisters, Mary Lee Blake, Claudia Ruth Ayers and Ada Mae Henderson.
